Do you arrange Bollywood or Hindi songs for piano, harmonium, flute, or guitar? You can submit letter notes, sargam, or chords to KPNotes and get a public Arranged by credit when your work is published — free, moderated, and built for learners.
This guide covers who can submit, how claims work on the request board, what editors look for, and how contributor profiles and trust tiers work.
Who can submit notes?
Anyone with a free KPNotes account. You do not need to be a staff member. After you sign in, open Submit notes, choose the format, and paste your arrangement.
Supported formats include:
- Piano / keyboard letter notes
- Sargam for flute and harmonium
- Chord charts
Path A — Submit a song you already arranged
- Sign in at KPNotes.
- Go to kpnotes.com/submit-notes/.
- Enter the song title, artist/movie when known, and your notation.
- Submit for review. You can track status under My account → Submissions.
Editors may approve, ask for edits, or decline with feedback. Approved work becomes a normal song page on the site (and in the app catalog).
Path B — Claim a community request
Prefer arranging songs learners already asked for?
- Browse Request Song Notes.
- Open an open request and claim it (typically 14 days).
- Submit your notes and link the claim so the request can be marked fulfilled.
- When published, the song can show Solved by plus your arranger credit.

What “Arranged by” means
On the live song page, learners see who arranged the notes, your trust tier (for example Rising Transcriber or Master Transcriber), and a link to your public contributor profile when available.

Quality tips before you submit
- Check that the song is not already on KPNotes under a similar title.
- Keep letter lines clear and consistent (octave marks, rests, and lyric alignment help a lot).
- For sargam, include root Sa / scale hints when you know them.
- Do not paste copyrighted PDF sheet music or scanned commercial books — educational letter/sargam arrangements only.
- Use the private “notes to editors” field for context (tempo, key, tricky sections).
Trust tiers (short version)
Tiers rise with approved arrangements, approval rate, ratings, and fulfilled requests. Higher tiers help editors prioritize your queue — they do not auto-publish. Recognition is the reward: portfolio, bylines, and solver credit.
